Adriana made her milonga debut at Homero Milonga, and today we welcome her back for our upcoming Homero Tango Marathon No. 8.

Henrik is an active DJ of traditional tango music, a notable friend of our marathon, and an excellent social dancer. Henrik tells us: “I try to find melodies and songs, especially from the 1930s and 1940s, that get your feet moving almost by themselves.” Henrik comes with the energy and enthusiasm of Copenhagen. He tells us: “As a social dancer, I know which tangos I like, and from that perspective, I’ll do my best to find ‘your’ melody on the dance floor.“

AYAD ZIA
POLAND

“My style is romantic, rhythmic, and playful all at the same time. During my DJ sets, I focus on the great orchestras of the Golden Age, with careful use of music produced before and after this era. I actively boost the mood and energy, staying open to changes on the floor.”
It is important to note that Ayad Zia won the first Gardelle Award in the Musicians category as the best tango DJ in Poland 2024. A well-deserved recognition. Ayad is also an active and enthusiastic social dancer at milongas.
